This Month's Header features a tongue in cheek look at the plight of the Biker. Run ins with "The Man" have always been a familiar theme.

I grew up buying Pete Millar's Drag Cartoons, but didn't have this particular issue until a few years ago. I was familiar with it from the back issues and always thought it was cool. I've been planning to use it as a header pretty much since the blog began.

The location is in nearby Palos Verdes Estates CA, and still looks about the same. I should go there and take a photo from the same spot some time.

Daytona Bike Week - March, 4, 2010 - The Limpnickie Lot bike builders will be making a ride today from their location at Stone's Edge Skate Park in South Daytona to the meca of old school bike shows - Willie’s Tattoo Old School Bike Show, noon to 8 p.m. in Ormond Beach.

The parking lot of Willie's Tattoo is always filled to absolute capacity with bikes that celebrate the 40's to 70's style of building that have attracted a "next generation" of bike builders. Details: Tropical Tattoo.com

What's Happening at Daytona Bike Week 2010? Shade Tree Industry Party At Dog House - Tuesday Night

Last night, Shade Tree Powersports - parts, accessories & apparel company - threw a big industry party upstairs at Dog House Saloon on Main Street, where Kimmy Cruz was modeling with bikes and met Carmella Brown, owner of New York Rider Magazine and  Chris Maida of American Iron Magazine.

You can find the "almost famous" Kimmy Cruz TODAY, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the long bar, outside Froggy's Saloon on Main Street - Daytona Bike Week 2010!
