Yamaha’s BW’s 125 arrives


Yesterday Yamaka UK announced the arrival of their new commuter 125 scooter, called the BW's 125.
Its powered by a 125cc, 4-stroke, fuel injected air-cooled engine with Electronic Fuel Injection. It has big, wide, all-terrain style 12 inch tyres and off road grade dual rear shock absorbers, which given the appauling state of Britain's pot-holed roads, will be most welcome!

The BW’s 125 is available in Avalanche White and Midnight Black.

Peugeot celebrates with new big wheel LXR 125 scooter




Peugeot has been in business for 200 years and for more than 100 years has been producing motorcycles. To celebrate its double century Peugeot will be launching several new models of scooter this year.

The first of these in the UK i is the big-wheel Peugeot LXR125 scooter.
Big wheel scooters a offer superior handling over poorly maintained surfaces and are easier to manoeuvre.

With the crumblingly state of the UK's roads after the recent winter snow and ice, Peugeot seem to have released this on the UK market at just the right time!!

New Yamaha X-MAX 250 and Yamaha X-MAX 125 for 2010



Yamaha Motor UK has announced the releases of revised X-Max scooter's for 2010. The X-MAX 250 and X_Max 125 have redesigned bodywork with one-piece construction of the front cowling, with a fixed instrument panel. The single-piece cowling allows for a larger, improved dashboard design. It comes fully equipped with red backlit analogue and digital instruments, which now include a large sports-style rev counter.

The 2010 models have a new shape of the new footboard position. A re-designed double seat conceals more than enough storage space to accommodate two full-face helmets. Up front there is an enlarged lockable glove compartment.

There is a completely new rigid frame, suspended on twin rear shocks – with 4 adjustable positions - and long-travel telescopic forks with 15inch front and 14inch rear tyres ans twin-piston 267mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes.

The X- MAX 250 is available in Competition White, Midnight Black, Aluminium Slate and Storm Silver.

The X-MAX 125 is available in four colour finishes: Magnetic Blue, Competition White, Aluminium Slate and Midnight Black.

Music on the move with the Peugeot Speedfight 3



Just got details the latest accessory for the ever popular Speedfight 3 scooter. I think this one could be a big accessory hit?

Its an integrated audio system, the Mega Watt MP3 connection kit enables any music fan to plug in their MP3 player and enjoy their favourite tunes while on the move on their Speedfight 3.

Fitting under seat storage compartment, the Mega Watt MP3 connection kit includes an amplifier, control unit and 7-inch 30W sub woofer. Two further 20W speakers mount directly into the existing dummy air intakes on either side of the tail section, so no modification of the bodywork is necessary.

Suzuki Burgman 40th birthday model!



To celebrate 10 years of the Suzuki Burgman, Suzuki have a lunched a new luxury version of this scooter, the Burgman 400ZA. The new ZA model offers luxury extras such as ABS, heated grips, large hand guards, a passenger backrest, a wood patterned instrument panel, titanium coloured wheels and a smart new brown seat.

For riders who don't require the added luxury of the ZA, the standard Burgman 400 is still available.

Three-wheelers return!



Piaggio will unveil the latest edition to its MP3 range of three-wheeled vehicles at the 2009 London Motorexpo (Canary Wharf between Monday 8th and Sunday 14th June).

The Piaggio MP3 LT is the first ever scooter above 125cc that can be legally ridden with a normal car license. The MP3 LT is fitted with a brake pedal and a combined braking system guaranteeing shorter stopping distances – 20% shorter than conventional scooters.

Peugeot Speedfight 3 scooter arrives Summer 09







Peugeot have announced that the new Peugeot Speedfight 3 scooter will be in UK dealers this summer.

This iconic sports scooter will now be in its third incarnation with a new design which still appears to have the sporting lines and distinctive appearance of the first Speedfight. - you can judge for yourself from the first photo's of the new sports scooter - see above.

The Speedfight 3 has a revised chassis, the fuel tank is relocated to a central position under the floor pan, lowering the centre of gravity. 32mm hydraulic forks (replacing the single arm on previous models) and larger 13” wheels, are said to give class-leading handling. Braking gets the latest technology Peugeot have fitted a dual piston radial calliper, together with the 215mm Shuricane front disc brake,

The relocated fuel tank is expanded to hold 8.5 litres (2 gallons) giving a claimed potential range of up to 150 miles. Under the seat is the substantial storage bay a with a dual function 12V socket.
